Educational Video Series
The Victoria’s Voice Foundation has intensified our focus during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to create new and innovative programs to get to our kids before it’s too late. We are pleased to share that we have created a Victoria’s Voice Educational Video Series which focuses on effective and engaging video content to prevent/discourage drug abuse in at-risk populations. We began with our youth in order to educate them on the real dangers of substance use disorders and to debunk myths often associated with the use of opioids and other harmful substances such as nicotine, vaping, alcohol, and other drugs.
To this end, a three-season educational video series has been developed that focuses on the facts about substance use disorders, coping skills and strategies to live a life free from drugs, and how to build a successful future using leadership and financial skills not always taught in schools. Each season will feature eight 15-minute episodes designed to captivate middle and high school students.
We are currently finalizing the post-production elements for the first season’s eight-episode series with an anticipated completion date of January 2021! We are also very proud to have commitments from several school Districts who will pilot our video series with middle and high school students as part of state-mandated mental wellness requirements. We cannot wait to share these videos with you once they are finalized. Stay tuned!!
