Our Efforts During COVID-19
Now, more than ever, young people across the country need our help. The ongoing isolation brought on by the COVID-19 virus places those in recovery and those struggling with addiction at a much higher risk than ever before. Because of this, we have intensified our efforts to combat the opioid and drug pandemic that continues to plague far too many families. It is our pleasure to provide you with the following updates on our progress to save lives.
Our Efforts Continue During COVID-19
As shared in our Spring Progress Report we highlighted efforts:
- To ensure all first responders have access to Narcan,
- Conducted outreach with incredible response from professional speaker Marc Mero’s visits to over 55,000 middle and high school students,
- Partnered with the Las Vegas District Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA),
- Began the establishment of Victory Clubs on a national level
Victoria’s Voice Foundation (VVF) has not let COVID-19 slow us down! With David & Jackie Siegel’s tireless leadership, the foundation continues to develop programs, identify key stakeholders, and raise awareness and connect with others to remain steadfast in our battle to combat opioid addiction.
