‘Truth Not Talk’ Video Challenge
The Victoria’s Voice Foundation and the DEA Las Vegas District Office were thrilled to develop the Truth Not Talk Video Challenge contest!
The contest officially ended on November 30 and we received an abundance of high-quality video submissions from youth across the valley. Students in 9th through 12th grade created 30-60 second Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) on the dangers of opioid misuse and other highly addictive drugs. Young people were asked to create a video that would speak to their peers making sure to focus on a message of prevention and how lives can be saved. Contest winners, sponsors, and special guests will be recognized at a post-contest event in January 2021 where the winners will collect their prizes. In addition, Sinclair Broadcast Group will air a wrap-up show featuring Victoria’s Voice Co-Founder Jackie Siegel, the top three winning students, and one of our sponsors, Dan Heller from Kroeger/Smiths. Dates for both the post event and the wrap-up show will be announced as soon as plans are finalized. Following are the three winning videos. The students did an amazing job and we are proud to post their incredible videos here. Congratulations Kaleo, Elijah, and James!!!!!
Kaleo – October Winner
