National Naloxone Awareness Day

Thank you to everyone who participated in the fourth annual National Naloxone Awareness Day (NNAD) on June 6to raise awareness of this lifesaving opioid overdose reversal medication. This year, we took the national conversation to all 50 states and Canada with the renewed support of Emergent BioSolutions, the makers of NARCAN. From Niagara Falls to 875 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago and the Hawaii Convention Center, more than 150 iconic buildings and landmarks illuminated purple in a powerful display of awareness, unity, and hope.
