Partnering for Impact

We love to hear from our dedicated partners in prevention! Dan and Bev Foote, founders of We Believe in New Brunswick, Canada, shared a truly inspiring story about how they are sharing the Victoria’s Voice diary to change lives in their community.

“We had such an amazing evening at our second annual Rock’in the Corner Car Show – we had so many cars and an amazing concert. But what made this evening even more powerful was putting the Victoria’s Voice book in the hands of two RCMP police officers. Bev was also asked to come and speak to the Sergeant about putting Victoria’s Voice books in the police officers’ cars to be handed out to youth and families.

We cannot keep enough copies of the book. People tonight were sitting by their cars, sitting in lawn chairs, eating and could not put down the book. Many were walking around listening to the concert with Jacob Chevarie and Mellisa Marshall while reading the book and talking with friends and family about Victoria. We had a group of residents from a drug recovery home that could not put Victoria’s Voice down and literally cried as we watched and heard change and healing happen before our eyes tonight.

Lives were being changed tonight, and we and our staff at We Believe are forever grateful for the vital role that Victoria’s Voice is playing in changing lives and giving hope to our youth, adults and families.”
