Vital Signs Parent Forum – Charlotte, NC
A big thank you to Sheriff Garry McFadden for hosting our inaugural VITAL SIGNS Parent Forum in Charlotte, North Carolina. For this informative and interactive discussion of the drug epidemic in the community, Sheriff McFadden was joined by Councilwoman Tiawana Brown, parent and advocate Debbie Dalton, Associate Superintendent Dr. Jill Payne, survivor and peer support specialist Erin Perna, DEA representative Wanda Wiggins, and healthcare industry expert Robert Nesbit.
The event welcomed all Charlotte-area parents to contribute to this critical conversation on youth drug use and overdose. We were thrilled to be able to introduce attendees to our free VITAL SIGNS youth drug prevention program for parents and our Get. Give. Save. campaign toolkits for naloxone awareness and accessibility.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into the Charlotte community!
