Our Second Chance program exists today because of David Siegel’s conviction and determination to meet an unmet need in treatment and recovery:
“I believe that [a] major contributor to the drug epidemic is that most rehabs have 30-day programs, at a cost of around $1,000 a day. Most insurance companies pay only for 30 days. The problem is that it takes more than 90 days to cure an addiction… To make matters worse, at the end of 30 days, [people] are at their most vulnerable.”
