‘Save Our Kids’ Forum
On Tuesday, September 22 2020, extraordinary leaders from government and the private sector came together to participate in a Roundtable and Stakeholder Forum on Addiction. David & Jackie Siegel hosted the event and kicked off the Forum by sharing their story and the work they have done to change policy, raise awareness, ensure all First Responders carry Narcan, and incentivize young people who choose to be drug-free.
The Honorable Jim Carroll, Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, provided a key note and joined other influential speakers who shared their individual efforts and initiatives to combat the drug pandemic. In addition to engaging in critical conversations and learning from one another, participants were asked to propose a specific actionable commitment to support Victoria’s Voice Foundation or independently spearhead an effort to combat the drug pandemic. This Forum marked another significant milestone where the Victoria’s Voice Foundation, in collaboration with public and private sector leaders, facilitated critical conversations and established a call to action to collectively battle the drug pandemic in order to save lives.
