Influencing Behavior. Empowering Re-Entry: One Step Away Makes a Difference

Michael DeLeon, Victoria’s Voice Director of Youth Outreach and School Programs, worked hard to prepare himself for a successful return to society after incarceration, and he translated those lessons into 10 core principles. The One Step Away program, which is based on these principles, equips inmates with the life skills they need to avoid recidivism. Thanks to our expanded tablet distribution program, this acclaimed program is now available to more than 400,000 inmates in 40 states.
